‧ Lectures: Lectures will cover the material from the book chapters and additional supplementary material. The lectures are designed to enhance your understanding of what you’ve read and put it in context. Lecture slides and videos will be made available on NTU COOL, the course platform.
‧ Exams: There will be two exams. The exams will consist of multiple-choice questions and will assess your knowledge of all the materials covered in the course, including both lecture content and textbook material. Exams are NOT cumulative. If you have any special testing considerations due to a learning disability or physical handicap, please inform me prior to the exam so that appropriate accommodations can be made.
‧ Assignments: Students will be expected to complete four written assignments throughout the course. All assignments must be submitted to NTU COOL. Any assignment that is emailed to the instructor instead of being submitted to the course website will receive a grade of zero.
‧ Discussion/Participation: Active participation in class discussions is a vital component of the course. Students will be encouraged to engage in thoughtful discussions, allowing for a deeper understanding and personal exploration of the course material.
